I stirred awake from my restful slumber, only to find my surroundings somewhat disorienting. At first, I brushed it off, attributing my confusion to my naturally sleepy disposition (much like my author! 🤭). However, a sharp pain in my neck soon jolted my senses, reminding me of my awkward position on the cold, hard floor, my head tucked snugly against my knees. As memories of yesterday's events began to wash over me like a relentless tide, I felt the sting of tears slip silently down my cheeks, a testament to the emotions I had tried to suppress.
